Cyber-thieves are increasingly targeting online data backups, according to a new report.
This leads to a much-needed increase in security, but also to an explosion of attacks aimed at circumventing such mfa approaches, including with stalkerware. As people get used to downloading family-tracking software and give permissions more quickly, keystrokes, locations, photos and videos can also be misused for corrupt purposes. That stalkerware will be found a lot in consumer apps: 'Pegasus is one such example and can install itself independently on iOS and Android devices.
