In the fight against online criminals, investigative authorities and cyber defense companies work hand in hand. In order to act together in a spirit of trust, representatives meet regularly to exchange views and experiences. After a two-year break, experts from investigative authorities and commercial enterprises as well as judges and public prosecutors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and neighboring countries met at G DATA. Their topic: a trustful exchange about current developments in the fight against cyber criminals. The first German specialist event on phishing and botnets took place in 2009. Over the course of three days, experts presented technical examples, discussed legal issues, and shared their experiences in the fight against cybercriminals in personal conversations. In addition, during the communication breaks and in the evening, there was an opportunity to add new contacts to the personal network or to meet old acquaintances again.
