Cyber ratings and benchmarks are tools that help a CISO assess the security status of companies in the supply chain. They provide insight into the security status of partners such as suppliers, manufacturers, service providers and subcontractors, allowing vulnerabilities that may pose a risk to be identified and addressed. They are calculated regularly to provide a current picture and reveal trends.

Benchmarks are reference points that help companies contextualize their security level, and that of others, against other organizations in their industry. We calculate benchmarks using collected data on the security performance of comparable companies.

Both are part of RiskStudio, the low-threshold Web application for increasing cyber resilience and meeting compliance requirements.

The Industry Benchmarking tool compares how different industries are “doing” when it comes to cyber security. For example, there are big differences between one industry and another. For example, did you know that the industry “Media & Entertainment” is doing significantly worse than “Education & Research.” You can also compare countries, which leads to surprising insights. For example, Iceland is among the countries that score the highest. And one of our neighboring countries scores pretty badly....

Thus, we want to let you experience how we make complex matter and large amounts of data available in an easy way.
