In October 2024, RiskStudio had the honor of being invited as a startup with its own booth at the ONE Conference, the leading European cybersecurity event that took place on October 1 and 2, 2024, at the World Forum in The Hague.
What is the ONE Conference?
The ONE Conference is an annual event that brings together cyber professionals, policymakers, researchers, and businesses to share knowledge about the latest developments in cybersecurity and to foster collaborations. The event is organized by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, the Municipality of The Hague, and ECP — Platform for the Information Society.
Over two days, the program offered a mix of plenary sessions, breakout tracks, workshops, and panel discussions on current topics — from malware detection and incident response to governance, talent development, and public-private partnerships.
Why this event is important
With over 2,000 professionals and approximately 130 speakers, the ONE Conference was a unique opportunity to:
- learn about the latest cybersecurity insights and challenges;
- share knowledge with experts from business, government, and academia;
- network with potential partners, clients, and investors;
- participate in discussions that help shape the future of cybersecurity.
In addition, the “Let’s Collaborate – The Start-Up Edition” Expo provided a platform for promising young technology companies, including RiskStudio, to present our vision and solutions at the heart of the European cyber community.
RiskStudio’s participation: what we did
At our booth, we had many inspiring conversations with visitors from various sectors. We explained the power of RiskStudio’s automated supply chain inventory, cross-industry benchmarking, and real-time cyber ratings. The great interest in our approach, focused on simplicity, objectivity, and impact, confirms that the need for innovative solutions for supply chain cyber risks continues to grow.
Key insights and trends
Some trends and themes that emerged during the conference include:
- Collaboration remains crucial between public and private entities to effectively combat threats.
- Regulations such as NIS2 are high on the agenda and require practical tools and insights for compliance.
- Talent development and knowledge sharing are essential to strengthen the cybersecurity community.
Review and Outlook
We look back on a valuable and inspiring edition of the ONE Conference 2024. The conversations, insights, and connections we gained give us extra energy to further grow RiskStudio and help organizations effectively manage their digital footprint and supply chain risks.
