April 2025. RiskStudio has joined as a partner of Samen Digitaal Veilig, a public initiative by MKB-Nederland and VNO-NCW. With over 100 affiliated sectors and a reach of more than 185,000 companies, the program plays a central role in the digital resilience of Dutch businesses.
The collaboration enables organizations to automatically and objectively map current cyber risks in their supply chain. This way, RiskStudio supports SME companies and beyond in practical preparation for the NIS2 directive.
“What you cannot see, you cannot monitor. And what you do not monitor, you cannot explain to supervisors,” says Marcel Knippen, CEO of RiskStudio. “Many organizations are willing to take responsibility, but lack concrete tools. Samen Digitaal Veilig has developed a practical compliance and certification scheme with the NIS2 Quality Mark. Organizations can turn to RiskStudio to operationalize this standard.
The timing is urgent: the digital threat landscape is changing rapidly, and cyber attacks via suppliers, including in the SME sector, are increasing. At the same time, European NIS2 legislation requires demonstrable resilience against external risks.
RiskStudio analyzes companies across four domains: digital footprint, basic measures, exposure, and incident history. The assessment works completely without input from suppliers and delivers clear insights within 30 minutes, including recommendations.
The collaboration focuses on the practical implementation of digital supply chain responsibility, a core component of the digital autonomy that Europe strives for. By making external risks visible, organizations gain the insights needed for better choices in collaboration and security.
